Who don't love tea, right? I love tea so much and I personally like Earl Grey tea because it has a very nice aroma that makes me feel calm. Make sure you guys, try it too. But don't drink tea regularly because maybe some tea may have side effects but you guys can consult with your doctor first before deciding whether tea is the best option for you. Tea contains antioxidants. Antioxidants helps to keep us young and protect us from damage from pollution. Tea also has less caffeine than coffee, it actually contains about half the amount compared to instant coffee and a third of filter coffee.
1. GREEN TEA
Green tea is full of antioxidants called catechins which has potential role in preventing cancer and heart disease. A study also reported that they found green tea-extract increases the metabolism by 4% over a 24 hour period. Three to five cups a day can help you burn an extra 70 calories a day.
2. CHAMOMILE TEA
If you has sleepless night, chamomile tea ia absolutely great solution for you. A few studies have been carried out on this subject and chamomile tea connected to better tranquilizer or locomotor activity allowing for a more restful sleep. Chamomile is known for its calming effect on smooth muscle tissue, nervous stomach, menstrual cramps, and other common problems related to stress.
3. ELDER FLOWER TEA
Elder flowers have antioxidant properties and an antiviral effect which used for colds and flu, sinus infections, and other respiratory disturbances. Elderflowers comprised of several essential vitamins, including Vitamin A, the B-1, B-2, and B-3 complex, and Vitamin C.
4. LEMON BALM TEA
Lemon balm has sweet lemony aroma that promotes calming effect. So, if you have a stressful day, drink this tea and you will feel a sense of relaxation. Studies also show that lemon balm extract is effective in relieving anxiousness and insomnia.
5. GINGER TEA
Ginger tea is usually used to prevent colds and nausea. Ginger promotes the secretion of various digestive juices/enzymes that help neutralize stomach acid. Tea made from ginger has high levels of vitamin C and amino acids, as well as various trace elements such as calcium, zinc, sodium, phosphorus, and many others. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, ginger helps relieve motion sickness and morning sickness.
6. PEPPERMINTS TEA
Peppermint tea is very refreshing tea and has properties that may help relieve bloating symptoms and alleviate problems like stomach gas and flatulence.
